The Birth and Growth of Tangonet Solutions
The story of Tangonet Solutions began with a life-changing phone call that forever altered the life of Dennis Bruce. In his mid 20’s, he received an unexpected message—an intriguing opportunity from a former colleague. The message spoke of a promising consulting assignment in Geneva, Switzerland, at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Initially dismissed, it was only when the call was reiterated with urgency that Dennis took note of the prospect.
In a matter of weeks, Dennis found himself in the captivating city of Geneva, developing applications to aid refugees. There, he saw firsthand the transformative power of technology. The 90s brought another significant phone call, this time from Telecom Argentina. Following a brief flight to Buenos Aires and a swift interview, Dennis embarked on a new chapter in his professional journey.
His focus was on using IT to improve living conditions, a cause to which he dedicated himself with purpose. These experiences crystallized Dennis’ mission—to assemble exceptional nearshore technology teams based in Argentina, leading to the creation of Tangonet Solutions in 2007.
